Snow Days
A "snow day" is when school is closed due to an unusually large amount of snowfall (or predicted snowfall)or if is bitterly cold. If you suspect any of these scenarios, then you should verify whether you will have class. One way to find out if you will have class is by watching a local news channel. Any school closings will be posted along the bottom of the screen in alphabetical order by county. Your school is located in Cuyahoga County. Look for the name Polaris Career Center. If it is listed, then you do not have school. Another way to find out whether school is cancelled is by looking on the Internet. All of the local TV news stations list school closings on their websites. You can check NBC News, ABC News, Fox 8 News, or CBS 19 Action News.
