St. Patrick's Day
Today is St. Patrick's Day. Many people celebrate this holiday by wearing the color green. You can learn more about this holiday here. You can also watch several short videos about this holiday on The History Channel by clicking here.

For those of you working on embedded question in class, the following sites offer extra practice if you have the time: Grammar Lessons on the Web (there are exercises/answers on the bottom of the page), English-Zone (exercise), and You Tube (lots of examples with photos).

Check out two new sites
Two new sites have been added to help you improve your English. Yappr.com was recommended by Juan Cabrerra. You can watch videos, play games, and more. Another new site is News For You. We receive this newspaper every week in class. Now you can listen to the articles on the front page. You can choose to listen to the entire article at once or you can listen to one sentence at a time. There are also two comprehension activities for each article.
